I love the exuberance of a swallow in flight over California poppies; my painting is paired with Shakespeare's quote "Heaven give you many, many merry days!” (from the play “Merry Wives of Windsor”). This quote works for many occasions including birthday card and wedding celebrations. I used Chinese watercolors on sheet music to create this painting; the notes of the music adds another layer that peeks through the landscape I painted on it.
