I love the exuberance of a swallow in flight over California poppies paired with Shakespeare's quote "Heaven give you many, many merry days!” (from the play “Merry Wives of Windsor”). This quote works for many occasions including a birthday card. I used Chinese watercolor on Sheet Music to create this painting. The notes of the sheet music adds another layer that peeks through the landscape I painted on it.
